Description

The Vintage Silver Center is a Recreational Therapy based day program for seniors in Central Phoenix that accepts 1-2 interns per semester, Spring, Summer and Fall! Throughout your internship you will work with members of the geriatric population who have varying levels of memory ability, mobility and behavioral needs. As an intern you will learn how to apply the APIED process in a community based setting through assessments, documentation, facilitation, program planning, and more. Experience what it is like to work on a professional interdisciplinary team that is dedicated to changing the lives of seniors and their families through intentional recreation!
