White Funeral Homes is seeking intern and or licensed mortician to serve their five locations in the southern Twin Cities Metro area.  Compensation based on experience. Apartment available. 

Key Responsibilities:**

- Oversee all aspects of funeral services, from initial removal to funeral arrangements through to final disposition.

- Provide compassionate care and guidance to families in their time of grief.

- Prepare the deceased for viewing and memorial services, ensuring a respectful and dignified presentation.

- Coordinate with various agencies and organizations, including hospitals and government offices, to facilitate all necessary processes and paperwork.

- Manage and lead funeral services, ensuring every detail aligns with family wishes and traditions.

- Maintain the facility, equipment, and grounds to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and care.

- Stay informed about industry regulations and best practices to provide excellent service.

Requirements

Requirements

- Ability to obtain a MN Mortician License or a MN Registered Mortician Intern.

- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Funeral Service or a related field.

- Previous experience in a funeral home or similar environment is highly preferred.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate demeanor.

- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
